Why people from the F sectors should choose Dental Plus
Patients from F-6 to F-11 have plenty of dentists closer to home. These are the reasons some of them still make the drive to Bahria Town, so you can decide whether it's worth it for you.
Specialist root canals
Root canals here are led by Dr Ahmad Mahmood, MDS Endodontics, including re-treating root canals that failed elsewhere. For a difficult tooth, a specialist is worth the drive. About root canals.

We're open 24 hours a day. Coming in the evening, when the Expressway is quieter, usually makes the drive shorter.
Implants planned by one team
Dr Ahmad, trained in implantology, places the implant, and our prosthodontist plans the crown, all in one clinic. About implants.
Consultant-led care
Root canals are led by an MDS endodontist, braces by two FCPS orthodontists, and crowns and dentures by an FCPS prosthodontist. Meet the dentists.

Is it worth the drive? An honest guide
Not every appointment justifies a 45-minute drive, and we would rather tell you that than waste your time. Here's how we'd decide:
- Worth the drive: a root canal on a molar, re-treating a failed root canal, a dental implant, or a second opinion before a tooth is taken out
- Worth the drive: severe toothache at night, when most clinics near you are closed
- Probably easier closer to home: a routine check-up or scale and polish, if you already have a dentist you trust nearby
For anything where a specialist really changes the outcome, the trip is usually worth it. And because we are open 24/7, you can come at night, when the Expressway is clear, or plan a longer appointment so that more gets done in one visit. Tell us you're travelling from the F sectors when you book, and we'll plan the visit with that in mind.
Veneers or bonding? Choosing for your front teeth
If you are making the trip for a smile makeover, it helps to know the two main options before you come. Both can fix chips, gaps, stains and shape. The difference is how much tooth is involved and how long the result lasts.
Composite bonding uses tooth-coloured resin moulded onto the tooth and hardened with a light. It takes 30 to 60 minutes per tooth, usually in one visit, needs little or no enamel removed and can be undone. It lasts about 3 to 10 years and can stain or chip. Porcelain veneers take two visits a few weeks apart. Some enamel is removed, so they are permanent, but they last 10 to 15 years and resist stains better.
For one small chip or gap, bonding is often enough, and you can have it done in a single trip. For several teeth that need a new shape and colour, veneers usually give the longer-lasting result. Veneers are planned by Dr Hafsa, our consultant prosthodontist. Compare them in our veneers and bonding guide.
Want a second opinion on a treatment plan?
Some of our patients from the F sectors don't come for a first diagnosis. They come because another dentist has told them a tooth must come out, or quoted for several implants, and they want to be sure before they commit. That's a sensible thing to do with any expensive or irreversible treatment.
Bring the written plan and any recent X-rays. A consultant reviews them, examines you, and tells you plainly whether they agree. Often the plan is right. Sometimes a tooth marked for extraction can be saved with root canal treatment or re-treatment, or a gap can be filled more simply with a bridge. Either way, you leave knowing your options and their costs, with no pressure to have the treatment here.

Questions from F sectors
How far is Dental Plus from F-7 Islamabad?
About 26 km from Jinnah Super, F-7, roughly 44 minutes via the Islamabad Expressway in daytime traffic according to Google Maps. It is usually quicker late in the evening.
How long does it take from F-10 or F-11?
Around 29 km, about 49 minutes via the Islamabad Expressway in daytime traffic. Murree Road is a similar alternative.
Why would I travel from the F sectors to Bahria Town for a dentist?
Mostly for specialist care: root canals and re-treatments led by an MDS endodontist, dental implants, and a clinic open at any hour. For a routine clean, a trusted dentist near home may be easier.
Can I come in the evening or at night?
Yes. We're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can come when the roads are quieter. Book ahead by WhatsApp so we're ready for you.
Can I get a second opinion before having a tooth taken out?
Yes. Bring any X-rays you have. If the tooth can be saved with a root canal, we will tell you, and explain the cost of each option.
Can bonding be done in one visit?
Usually, yes. Composite bonding takes about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth, so a small chip or gap can often be fixed in a single trip.
How long do veneers last?
Around 10 to 15 years with good care. Porcelain veneers take two visits, a few weeks apart.
Is a root canal on a back tooth harder?
Usually, yes. Molars often have three or more canals, which can be narrow or curved, so treatment takes longer. That is where a specialist endodontist makes the biggest difference.
How many visits does a dental implant take?
Fewer than you might think: one visit to place the implant, a check on healing, then a short visit to fit the crown after 3 to 9 months. A bone graft, if needed, adds to the time.
How do I book from the F sectors?
